Scotland 2 takes place in the sunset. It is raced in the opposite direction with Rally cars, with three roadblocks added on the track.
In this level, players must pass a set of boulders which are located between the two streams. There is a barrier on the S-turn that blocks half the road. Boxes are also placed on the road at the farm section.
In Scotland 2, the player drives three laps in the opposite direction of Scotland 1. Rally cars have slightly higher top speeds, and the opponents are much more aggressive. Midway through the lap, the player will encounter a set of boulders. They will pass two more bottlenecks later in the lap: a barrier and set of boxes located near the S-turn.
The boxes have proven to be extremely dangerous, and they may be used for Rampage gameplay as a “car-trap”. To make this effective, the player parks their car in an angle that would deflect oncoming cars to the boxes. Cars running onto the boxes can get trapped under, strangled on top, or even gallop to the farm area, instantly falling Out.
Players can also investigate the mysterious adventures of AI Rossi, who will instantly stop as he enters Lap 2. In sleep mode, he will flicker his brake lights on and off before moving, only to stop twice more later in the lap. This strange behavior applies only in Grand Tour Racing 98, and the player may attempt an Underdog Challenge where they can help Rossi to finish first.
