Hong Kong 7 is the special level that uses Dakars on a semi-sandy, predominantly concrete track – identical to Hong Kong 6. As the Dakars are significantly slower than Sports cars, this three-lap race may come across as slow-paced towards the end.

The Major Ramp must be tackled or bypassed before encountering the long sandy road. The small bridge is a bottleneck, but it doesn’t cause many cars to be Out when a Rampage is attempted.

Walkthrough

Hong Kong 7’s track is identical to Hong Kong 6, the final and arguably the hardest level of Hong Kong. However, like most other secret levels, Hong Kong 7’s difficulty is extremely easy due to it having slow AI through Laps 2 and 3. Morgen and Rossi are the only strong opponents who start the race behind every other AI.

This level has a popular Major Ramp which allows Non-Deadly Rampages to be performed. As the Dakars are too slow, all the AI opponents will choose to bypass the Ramp by driving under it. Under this Ramp, the player can attempt to deflect their opponents off the sandy track; doing so may cause them to fall under a mysterious “hypnotic spell”, where they become permanently trapped under the Ramp.
