Egypt 7 is opened after the secret fireball is collected in Egypt 1. Indy cars are used, with larger wheels and lower top speeds. This track is identical to Egypt 5.

Indy cars will scale upwards on the barrierless S-turn, as this level is raced in the first direction.

The starting positions are arranged in Easter Island order, despite this being an Indy level. AI Baptiste and Ahmed are the leading contenders to start the race.

Egypt 6 is the sunnier version of the preceding level. It is raced in the opposite direction with Dakars, and is the sixth and final level of Egypt.

This level’s track is very similar to Egypt 5, except there is now another Out Zone near the start; the first bridge has been broken to become a Deadly Ramp.

The starting positions have been arranged in a rather disorganized order. AI Xu & Roberts take pole positions in Egypt 6, and are the favorable teams to win the race.

Egypt 5 lets Dakars onto the route of the bumpy stretch. It takes place in the sunset and is raced in the original direction.

The bumpy stretch is a rugged, 1.5-mile long path which must be tackled early in the race. However, it is possible to bypass half of this terrain via shortcut, as demonstrated in the video below.

This level opens up more accessible areas of Out Zones, as it removes the enclosing fence on the Valley of the Kings. There are no barriers on the S-turn either. Now cars risk falling off the long stretch, and will scale up two hills instead of taking the U-turns.

Egypt 4 introduces Dakars on an identical track to Egypt 2. However, the level is raced in clear weather, and the starting positions have been rearranged.

The S-turn has its barriers partially removed, so cars may skip the second U-turn, and take the shortcut down after clearing the first U-turn. Most opponents do not recognize this shortcut in Level 4.

The bumpy stretch is not used in this level. It is replaced by the Non-Deadly Ramp; if a car fails to clear it and falls under, there are two possible routes back onto the track. But if too many other cars are under, they may block these routes.

Egypt 3 lets Buggies onto the route of the bumpy stretch, a 1.5-mile winding trail of bumps which takes about a minute to clear through.

The Ramp from Egypt 2 marks the midway point of the stretch. AI Ivanov handles the stretch with superior stability and control, making him a top contender of the race.

The archaeological dig is now approached from a more “dangerous” direction, as there is a sneaky, non-deadly Ramp which lets cars bypass the stones by jumping over them. If the Ramp is approached from the wrong angle, cars may be stranded for a while before “turning over” to resume the race.

Egypt 2 takes place in the sunset with dune Buggies.

In this race, all cars will encounter a one-car bottleneck at the archaeological dig, which is now barricaded with stones. As the direction is reversed, there is a minor shortcut that allows players to bypass the first U-turn.

Towards the end of the lap, cars must tackle the Non-Deadly Ramp. Cars that fail to jump across will not be Out, as there are two simple routes that takes them back on track.

Egypt 1 introduces a sand terrain to dune Buggies. In this race, cars drive around a dune-filled course of ancient Egyptian pyramids.

The secret fireball is found on the platform of buildings near the tunnel. Once retrieved, all progress gets lost as Egypt 7 opens.

This level is also available in the modes Split-Screen and Head-To-Head as Egypt A.

An ancient, dune-filled course, Egypt’s snake-like turns test even the bravest racers. Here, you will compete in either dune Buggies or Dakar vehicles, as their forgiving suspensions and tight turn radii make them well-suited for these tracks. As you kick up Pharoah dust in the Valley of the Kings, beware of the Sphinx’s penetrating gaze, collapsed wooden bridges, and the looming presence of the Great Pyramid of Cheops.

– Description

Egypt features a sand terrain for Buggies & Dakars. It is the home track of Team Ahmed and the fifth race of the Grand Tour Season.

In Egypt, cars drive around a sandy path surrounded with ancient pyramids. It features the longest course in the game, stretching over seven miles in lap distance. All races begin inside a narrow complex, the only reserved area for spectators. The weather in Egypt is very dry, featuring only sunny or sunset weather in its races.

Around the track, cars will encounter many S-turns and winding stretches. Wooden bridges also make a ubiquitous presence, but only to get broken down into dangerous ramps in later levels. The newly-opened route is used in four levels, featuring a rugged path known as the bumpy stretch.

Cheat: To unlock all Egypt levels without winning any races, the player should tap R1 to the tune “Always look on the bright side of life” (from Monty Python’s The Meaning Of Life). If done correctly, an engine sound will blare and all levels will be unlocked.
